Motiva implants obtained GMP certification for safety and quality standards applying to manufacturing and imported medical products, and were approved for sale after Korean food and drug regulators inspected the manufacturing facilities on site. They also comply with EU requirements for safety, health, the environment, and consumer protection and hold comprehensive CE certification. Motiva is authorized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, while its manufacturing facilities hold ISO 13485 certification and operate in a controlled environment.

Motiva implant materials offer strong durability. The ergonomic silicone-gel shell combines precision and elasticity, allowing a smaller surgical incision. Preoperative examination

Preoperative testing is essential for surgical safety. To assess anesthesia safety, chest X-rays, electrocardiography, blood tests, and other examinations are performed to identify possible liver, heart, kidney, lung, or anemia-related conditions. These results help determine whether the patient can safely undergo surgery and general anesthesia and provide a clear picture of overall health.

Breast cancer screening and assessment for abnormalities

Patients who have not yet undergone breast cancer screening should be examined before surgery to confirm that there are no breast abnormalities. REAL places safety first, so this step is not omitted even though it adds complexity. Screening can be coordinated with the surgical schedule at a nearby partner hospital.

Minimal dissection, trusted implants, and a highly specialized breast-surgery team

The patient signs informed consent, fully reviews postoperative precautions, and consults the director again to confirm the surgical plan before proceeding. Is Motiva round or teardrop-shaped?

Motiva is neither a conventional round nor anatomical teardrop implant; it is Ergonomix. Compared with traditional implants, Ergonomix uses ergonomic technology to move under gravity more like natural breast tissue, giving a more natural shape and feel. It assumes a teardrop-like form while standing and spreads naturally while lying down.

Is the Motiva surface smooth or textured?

Motiva uses a finely manufactured Nano Surface. No foreign material such as salt or sugar is used on the surface. This is designed to improve biocompatibility, encourage natural interaction with surrounding tissue, and help the implant move with the breast.

What is the chip in a Motiva implant used for?

A Motiva implant may contain an identification chip that can be scanned internationally. It helps identify the implant, verify its information, and support quality assurance if a problem occurs. Pricing differs depending on whether a chip is included, so discuss the choice during consultation.
